WHERE DO VAQUITA LIVE?

Vaquita have a very small range and are endemic to the northern Gulf of California in Mexico. In fact, the species has the smallest range out of every marine animal on the planet! The majority of remaining vaquitas live just east of San Felipe, Baja California within a 1,519-square-mile area. To put that into perspective, San Luis Obispo County is 3,300 square miles, almost double the Vaquitas range.
